But Rapaport was convinced that taking an off the rack solution would somehow not give him the distinctive look and function he wanted for his business and would give the bake shop a generic look like everyone else on the net.
So he was willing to spend something extra to have a professional create something distinctive for his business that would make his company stand apart.
Jed also had a sense of what he felt he could and could not handle and what would distract from concentrating on his business itself.
While Haika did the baking and he did the promoting, he felt that trying to figure out the intricacies of website design, even to the extent of tweaking an existing blog or other application would dilute his focus.
